Tawseef Khan, a passionate youth climate activist from Lower Dir, Malakand Division. He is the visionary behind the Progressive Climate Foundation (PCF), a youth-led organization with a thriving network of over 2,300 active members across Pakistan. Driven by his unwavering commitment to empower and mobilize Pakistan’s youth, Tawseef has been instrumental in fostering decisive climate action at the grassroots level.
His impactful leadership has earned him esteemed honors such as the Pride of KP Award and the Hamary Heroes Award by HBL PSL 9. Tawseef has spearheaded large-scale afforestation campaigns and facilitated countless capacity-building workshops, raising awareness about climate change and environmental sustainability nationwide.
Currently serving as the Master Facilitator (2024–2026) for the Pakistan Youth Leadership Initiative (PYLI) by the British Council, in collaboration with the Prime Minister’s Youth Program and HEC, Tawseef continues to inspire and mentor young leaders. His dedication to creating a sustainable future and empowering the next generation firmly establishes him as a changemaker and a beacon of hope for a better world.
The Central Coordination Committee (CCC) of the Progressive Climate Foundation (PCF) serves as a bridge between the Central Cabinet and our grassroots teams across Pakistan. Comprising the Presidents, Vice Presidents and their respective cabinets from all four provinces—Punjab Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan —as well as Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), this committee ensures smooth coordination, regional representation, and unified action on climate initiatives.
The CCC plays a pivotal role in planning, communication, and execution of province-wide campaigns, ensuring that PCF’s mission of climate justice, youth empowerment, and sustainability reaches every corner of the nation. Through their leadership and regional expertise, the CCC strengthens PCF’s grassroots impact and helps guide our national strategy from the ground up.
PCF proudly connects a vibrant network of 100 active cabinet members across Pakistan representing every province and leading local climate action.
