Progressive Climate Foundation – PCF Foundation and President Mr. Tawseef was invited as a guest speaker at the International Islamic University, Islamabad (IIUI), for a seminar titled ๐๐ฌ๐ฅ๐๐ฆ ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ฌ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ ๐ฌ๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค ๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐: ๐ ๐ฉ๐๐ญ๐ก ๐ญ๐จ ๐ก๐๐ซ๐ฆ๐จ๐ง๐ฒ ๐๐ง๐ ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฌ๐ฌ organized by the Department of Educational Leadership and Management.
PCF President Muhammad Tawseef Khan talked about ๐๐จ๐๐ข๐๐ฅ ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ค ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐๐ข๐ง๐๐๐ฅ๐ ๐๐๐ฏ๐๐ฅ๐จ๐ฉ๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ: ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฆ๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ฏ๐ข๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ๐๐ฅ ๐๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐๐, in which he sparked a powerful conversation about the beautiful alignment between Islamic principles and the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He explored how core tenets of Islam โ social justice, poverty eradication, environmental stewardship, and education โ resonate profoundly with the SDGs, creating a potent blueprint for progress.
But here’s the sobering reality: despite Pakistan’s vibrant youth, only 1% are familiar with the SDGs. This highlights a critical knowledge gap we urgently need to bridge.
That’s where the Progressive Climate Foundation comes in. We’re dedicated to empowering young people in Pakistan to become active agents of change. Through targeted education, skills development, and fostering a culture of social responsibility, we equip them with the tools they need to tackle climate challenges and build a more just, equitable, and sustainable future.
The energy and enthusiasm of the students at IIUI were truly inspiring. They represent the immense potential waiting to be unlocked!
Join us in this crucial mission. Together, by harnessing the power of Islamic values and the SDGs, we can create a world where harmony and progress go hand-in-hand.
